Land Between the Lakes; Tennessee &
Kentucky
Although Rushing Creek is located in Tennessee, you have go through
Kentucky to get to it.  I traveled up from Nashville into Land Between
the Lakes, but had to go into Kentucky for about 1 mile and then turn
south to gain acccess to the campground.  This had to be one of the
most remote sites I've camped at.  Out in the middle of nowhere and
in the most nothern "niche" of Tennessee.

The campground is very nice and we were lucky to get an extremely
good location.  The site was level and very seclueded from the rest of
the sites.  There are only 2 water spigets in the park and the
bathhouse had decent showers.

This was the first trip where it rained in buckets on us.  We had to
configure our camp layout to stay dry.  You can tell by the pictures
just what we had to do.  Overall, we loved camping here even in the
rain.  With the way we rigged everything, we managed to stay very dry
once the tents and tarps were up.
