Linden, TN
I love the name of this park. Tradition has it that Mousetail Landing received its name during the Civil War period when one of the area's tanning companies caught fire. The exodus of mice fleeing the burning tannery was so profuse that the area in proximity of the park became known as Mousetail Landing.
This had to be the coolest park just because the campsite was less than 100 yards from the beautiful Tennessee River. Outstanding views; watched tugs push barges up and down the river. Very hard to describe how pretty it really is.
Entrance sign to the park. This was Seth's first trip with his new tent. You can see the Tennessee River in the background.

Just little 'ole me next to the Tennessee River. One of the many barges going down the river. Look closely at Seth's walking stick.
