For the past four years on the 4th of July, I have driven down to
Nolensville, TN to watch the fireworks. I had an Aunt and Uncle that
lived there all their life and I use to visit them often as a child. They
have since pasted, but it is still such a nice little country town.
I found myself sitting in the local softball field parking lot the first
year and watching what appeared to be two families "fighting" it out
for the best display. I just sat back and enjoyed; no crowds, no loud
music, no commerialism. I have returned every year since and more
families have joined in the "battle". I consider this my little secret
for the best fireworks display in town.
